Sara Ali Khan reveals Vicky Kaushal’s secret pet name given by his friends in Punjab – Times of India

Sara Ali Khan and Vicky Kaushal will be sharing screen space for the first time in Laxman Utekar’s untitled next, but by the looks of it, the two got along pretty well on the sets.

In a recent interview, Sara revealed that her hunky co-star even bit the bullet and revealed a hilarious pet name his friends in Punjab had for him.

Not one to keep any secrets from the film crew, Sara told Elle India, “He let me in on the fact that he used to be called ‘Bicky’ in Punjab so, of course, I used to scream out, ‘Oye Bicky, oye’ from across the room.”

Early this year, Sara and Vicky wrapped up work on the film. The actress didn’t miss the opportunity to send her love to her leading man in a post that read, “@vickykaushal09 every day with you on set has been a blast. From enjoying Punjabi songs and bonfires to early morning drives and copious cups of chai. Thank you for making this journey so memorable for me. You’re one of the most humble, talented and gifted actors I’ve met, and I’m so privileged that I got to share screen space with you and learn so much from you.”

Although much is still unknown about the film, cinematographer-director Utekar said he was keen to explore a fresh pairing for his new project. In a statement to PTI, he said, “I always wanted to work with Vicky. He is such a fantastic performer. I am a fan of his. Sara has something in her and for this film she is apt, she will kill it.”

“It is a fresh pairing and they will create magic,” he added.

The film that went on floors in November is scheduled to release it in theatres in 2022.

Vicky and Sara are also set to feature on-screen in Aditya Dhar’s ‘The Immortal Ashwatthama’.
