On the occasion of Nargis Dutt’s birth anniversary, Sanjay Dutt took to his Twitter handle to share a sweet throwback picture of his beloved mother along with a heartfelt post.

In the black-and-white picture, Nargis is seen posing for the camera while holding a few books in her hand and looking stunning as ever in a simple saree with a border. Sanjay captioned it, ‘To my guiding light, happy birthday, Mom. I love you and miss you always.’

As soon as he shared the post, likes and comments poured in from all sides. While one user wrote, ‘Sanju Baba she is missed,loved,respected by a lot of people across this universe(sic)’, another one added, ‘Happy Birthday wishes to your Mother Baba you know parents are an invisible power like God. Always protect you(sic)’.

On May 3, 1981, Nargis Dutt passed away after battling pancreatic cancer. She died just five days before Sanjay Dutt was set to make his Bollywood debut in a leading role.
On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will next be seen in ‘Hera Pheri 4‘ along with the original cast of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty. He will also be seen making a special cameo in Atlee’s Jawan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.
