Samsung: Samsung launches two new colours for Galaxy S23 Ultra in India – Times of India
Samsung launched its latest Galaxy S23 flagship smartphone series in February. The lineup includes Samsung Galaxy S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra smartphones. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra was initially launched in three colours — Green, Phantom Black and Cream — which were available on both online and offline retail channels.
Later on, the company added two special edition colours — Lime and Graphite — which are available only on Samsung.com. The company has now added two new colours — Red and Sky Blue — to the special edition colour range which will also be available on Samsung India’s official website and the brand’s official stores. The smartphone maker also took to Twitter to announce the new colours.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra: Price and key specs
The smartphone is priced at Rs 1,24,999 on the company’s official website. Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra sports a 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Infinity-O display that supports a variable refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1750 nits. The smartphone features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset for Galaxy backed by up to 12GB RAM and 1TB storage.
For optics, the smartphone houses a 200MP primary sensor with OIS, super HDR and pixel enhancer. It also comes with a 12MP Ultra Wide Lens, a 10MP Telephoto lens with 3x zoom, a 10MP Periscope lens with 10x zoom and a 3D ToF sensor. The smartphone also features a 12MP Dual Pixel camera with AI object awareness for selfies and video calls. The Galaxy S23 Ultra also uses the VDIS technology to record 8K videos at 30 fps.
The smartphone also features UWB capabilities, an IP68 rating and packs a 5000mAh battery unit that supports 45W fast charging. It runs Samsung’s OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 OS and sports an in-display Ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanner. The phone also supports wireless charging and comes with a built-in S Pen Stylus.
