Sameer Wankhede’s wife Kranti Redkar on NCP minister Nawab Malik’s allegations: We are right and we have proof – Times of India

Malik has made bitter remarks against Wankhede and also dragged his family members into the matter. Now, Sameer Wankhede’s wife Kranti Redkar held a press conference to clear the air around the issue.

While talking to the media, the actress said “The allegation made on Sameer are completely baseless. He is a very honest officer and I am sure time will reveal everything. It’s very sad that instead of encouraging such officers, he is targeted and trying to tarnish his image. But we know we are right and we have proof, Justice will always prevail.

The media asked the actress about NCB targeting Bollywood celebs, to which Kranti replied “I don’t think it’s true. There is so much noise being made that he is targeting celebrities. There may be 2 to 3 per cent cases related to celebrities rest of 95 per cent cases are related to drug peddlers”

” I don’t think Sameer is in connection with any political party. He belongs to the central government and works neutrally. If any party believes or feel that Sameer is working in the favour of any political party then such people need to clear up their mind” Kranti added.

Kranti also claimed that there are people, who are threatening me, my family and Sameer. They talk about hanging us and there are groups on social media continuously messaging and trolling. Why are people doing it on social media and who are these PR agencies?

Kranti further added ” We need to come out of this kitchen politics. If you have proof then you present it before the court. Making allegations against any officer on social media will not work. I think it’s very sad to see that people from such status target police officers’ family and the worst part is, this is happening openly.
