Samantha Ruth Prabhu says she doesn’t want to get into trouble by talking about her relationship with Naga Chaitanya – Times of India

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film, ‘Shaakuntalam’. The actress has been promoting her upcoming film which is a love story between Shakuntala and the mighty king Dushyanta. While the actress has only seen a jump in her career so far in the last few years, on personal front, she’s faced testing times.

The actress had announced divorce with Naga Chaitanya in 2021 after almost four years of being in a relationship. In a recently interview with Gulte.com, Samantha was asked if there’s anything that she would want to forget about her relationship. The actress laughed that and said, “You’re getting me into trouble!” She further added and said that she doesn’t want to forget anything because everything has taught her so much in life. She wants to remember everything because it has taught her a lesson. Samantha added that she doesn’t want to get into trouble hence, she won’t say it loud that what does she want to forget.

Earlier, on ‘Koffee With Karan 7’, when Samantha appeared with Akshay Kumar, the actress had spoken about opening up about her personal life on social media. She said, “I couldn’t really complain about it because I chose that path. I chose to be transparent and I chose to reveal a lot of my life. And when the separation happened, I couldn’t be too upset about it because they invested in my life and it was my responsibility to have answers, which I didn’t at that point of time.”
Apart from going through a separation, Samantha also got diagnosed with the autoimmune condition myositis and has contiuned to be on medication apart from following a very strict fitness regime. At the moment, Samantha is shooting for the Indian version of ‘Citadel’ with Varun Dhawan, directed by Raj and DK.
