Samantha Akkineni’s absence from dinner hosted by Naga Chaitanya and Nagarjuna for Aamir Khan adds fuel to separation rumours – Times of India ►

Naga Chaitanya, who is currently enjoying the release of ‘Love Story’, and Samantha Akkineni’s separation rumours have been doing the rounds on social media. Though the couple hasn’t said anything about the same, but it is being reported that they are headed to divorce. Recently, Aamir Khan visited Hyderabad to support his ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ co-star Naga’s film ‘Love Story’.

Post the event, Naga and his father Nagarjuna hosted a dinner party for Aamir at their residence. The picture which is shared on social media features all of them. But Samantha’s absence has raised several eyebrows. She was not seen attending the dinner. It has further added fuel to the separation rumours.

The dinner outing left Nagarjuna emotional after he realized that the character being played by his son in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ was called ‘Bala Raju’. He was pleasantly surprised and also emotional as it was the name of an iconic character his own father had played in a film of the same name – ‘Balaraju’ back then.

Meanwhile, Naga recently spoke about the ongoing rumours while promoting his film. He said that it is very painful for any actor when someone does a minute-to-minute coverage of their life, which he feels is a natural reaction like any other person.

Naga will be seen playing an army officer in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in a key role. It is slated to release on Christmas 2021.
