Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri’s debut is going to be unconventional, director Somendra Padhi reveals more details -Exclusive – Times of India

The next few months are going to see an influx of new talent in Bollywood. The latest in the list of actors and actresses who are going to debut is Salman Khan’s niece and Atul Agnihotri’s daughter, Alizeh Agnihotri. The young lady will feature in a film produced by her father. ETimes had reported earlier this year that the film will be directed by filmmaker Somendra Padhi, who’s made the critically acclaimed Jamtara for OTT.

The most interesting part here is that this yet untitled film is not going to be a typical debutante launch. The focus will not be just on a single heroine but the story is going to be youth-centric and this will be a film with a lot of newcomers. Speaking to ETimes, Padhi said, “We will announce the film after the rest of the cast is locked in. That is when we will be ready to go on floor.”

Alizeh has acted before in her father’s film Hello from 2008. The other most notable film to feature a lot of newcomers is Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies and those in the know have speculated that movie, just like Alizeh’s debut is not going to be a typical star kid launch vehicle either. Just like Somendra’s film, The Archies will also be a multi-star cast film that has three-star kids and two outsiders as part of the cast.

It remains to be seen who will be cast in Alizeh’s debut now. Stay tuned to ETimes for more exclusive updates.
