Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’ to take a 10-year leap: Report – Times of India

Salman Khan’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan completes 7 years of its release today. Earlier, in December Salman had announced the sequel to this blockbuster that was written by KV Vijayendra Prasad. ETimes had exclusively reported that ‘Pawan Putra Bhaijaan’ was the title being considered for the sequel. Back then Prasad had also said that he hadn’t started writing the script, but intended to put it on paper this year itself. Well, looks like he has finally narrated the story outline to Salman and according to Pinkvilla, it is now upon him to decide on the timelines.

Further, the report quoted Prasad saying that the story takes an 8 to 10 year leap in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2’. He also said that the idea of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ originated from Chiranjeevi starrer Telugu film titled ‘Pasivadi Pranam’.


Meanwhile, Salman Khan is currently shooting for his film ‘Bhaijaan’ which is slated to release in December. ETimes has brought you many updates from the numerous changes to this film’s production and cast. After Aayush Sharma and Zaheer Iqbal being replaced with Jassie Gill and Siddharth Nigam in the main cast, the film’s title was changed back to ‘Bhaijaan’ from ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’. Raghav Juyal, Malvika Sharma are also part of the cast apart from Pooja Hegde and Venkatesh.

Besides, Salman also has ‘Tiger 3’ as his Eid 2023 release. He is also in talks for ‘No Entry 2’, ‘Dabangg 4’.
