The Khan family, including Saif Ali Khan, wife Kareena and kids Taimur and Jehangir have reached their favourite holiday destination Gstaad in the Swiss Alps to bring in the New Year. Owing to the Covid pandemic, the couple had to give their annual holiday a miss for three years; this also happens to be Jeh’s maiden visit to the upscale resort town.

Taking to her IG stories, Kareena earlier today posted a pic from her holiday home with a cosy fireplace. In the caption, she revealed that it has been a long wait as she wrote, “Waited three years for you.”

Earlier on Christmas, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor took to her insta handle to share a video of her intimate celebration. The video showed the Khans having a close gathering, with Saif Ali Khan playing the guitar. The couple’s younger son Jeh too made an appearance in the same, along with the family’s furry pet. Sharing the video, Kareena wrote, “The best way to Christmas… is with my love playing the guitar… ❤️ And having my babies and best friends around ❤️ Love, light, and music to all… ❤️ Merry Christmas everyone”.
Kareena and Saif were conspicuous by their absence from the annual Christmas lunch hosted by the Kapoors since they had jetted off for Taimur’s birthday to the UK.
