Saif Ali Khan shares his love for theatre at the Prithvi Theatre Festival – Times of India

The actor attended a play at the ongoing festival and was elated to enjoy live performances. Upon being asked about his interest for the event, the actor had shared, “It’s a wonderful theatre and an intimate one at that. It’s also a huge part of our culture. The pandemic was tough and people haven’t been going out. So it’s really nice that people are coming back. I love watching plays here and enjoy coming here.” When SAif Ali Khan was asked about sharing memories of this theatre days, the actor revealed that he had seen a few plays here and that theatre culture continues to be a huge part of our culture.

On the big screen, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in action entertainer ‘Vikram Vedha’. Up next, the actor has Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ in the pipeline. The film was scheduled to hit the screens in January 2023, but the makers have shifted it to June 2023. Announcing the same in a social media statement, director Omar Raut had shared, “‘Adipurush’ is not a film, but a representation of our devotion to Prabhu Shri Ram and commitment towards our sanskriti and history. “In order to give a complete visual experience to the viewers, we need to give more time to the teams working on the film. ‘Adipurush’ will now release on June 16th, 2023.”
