‘Sabzi nahi pohe banenge’: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw recreate hilarious meme in viral video – Watch

Delhi Capitals batsmen Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw, who entertained fans on the field with their superb opening partnerships in the first half of IPL 2021 decided to have some fun off the field as well as they recreated a viral meme in a hilarious video.

The dialogue is from the Hindi TV serial ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’ where the character ‘Kokila ben’, who gets angry at the house help, Mani, when she was chopping the vegetables and she ordered her to make ‘Pohe’ instead. The dialogue has been made into an audio meme, which has been used in various reels on Instagram.

Dhawan and Shaw decided to recreate the same in their own unique style. The video starts with them dancing to the background music before they start mouthing the dialogues and the video ends with them dancing again.

The video has received over 3 lakh likes in just two hours and has been shared widely on social media.

Dhawan, who is the current leading run-scorer in the current edition with 380 runs in eight games while Shaw has amasses 308 runs in as many games as the duo has helped Delhi Capitals win at least three games on their own out of their side’s six wins in the eight games thus far.

The Delhi Capitals will resume their campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad on September 22 in Dubai.
