Rudrakshi wins girls u-15 title

Rudrakshi Rathore defeated R.K. Samiksha 12-6, 16-8, 16-13 in the under-15 girls final of the National Crossminton championships at the Gaurs International School, Greater Noida, on Sunday.
Samiksha clinched the under-18 title beating Janya Slaria 16-9, 17-15. Prashant Chaudhary and Seema Chugh won the men’s and women’s titles respectively.
Crossminton is a game that combines elements of badminton, squash and tennis and can be played anywhere.
V. Muthukumar, Joint Deputy Director, Ministry of Home Affairs, was the chief guest and presented the prizes.
The results (finals): Men: Prashant Chaudhary bt Piyush Kumar Singh 16-10, 16-9.
Boys: U-18: Prateek Tomar bt Namit Aggarwal 16-12, 16-10; U-15: Divyansh Sharma bt Rejul Jain 16-6, 16-7; U-12: Apratim Mukherjee bt Lakshay Tomar 22-20, 16-12; U-10: Shambhava Pratap Singh bt Prince Arya 16-11, 12-16, 16-9; U-8: Gaurav Arya bt Pranesh 16-2, 16-4.
Women: Seema Chugh bt Aditi Mukherjee 16-10, 16-6.
Girls: U-18: R.K. Samiksha bt Janya Slaria 16-9, 17-15; U-15: Rudrakshi Rathore bt R.K. Samiksha 12-16, 16-8, 16-13; U-12: Khayana Kumar bt Khyaati Anand 16-6, 16-2; U-10: Khayana Kumar bt Nysa Wwadhwa 16-6, 16-3.
Veterans: Kashif Ali bt Arvind Anand 16-9, 16-13.
