Rudhran preview: Raghava Lawrence starrer releases amidst the interim ban; will it prove to be a perfect entertainer? – Times of India
While the movie was scheduled to release last year, due to the delay in production, the movie’s release was postponed until now. However, even now it is not a smooth release for the movie as the Madras High Court has imposed an interim ban on the film over a dispute between the production houses regarding the film dubbing rights. However, amidst the ban, the movie is set to release in 400 screens in Tamil Nadu tomorrow.
‘Rudhran’s story us about the actor playing the lead titular role who tries to stop the illegal activities run by a corporate business and when the lead played by Raghava Lawrence, suffers a personal loss, he rages a war against the business magnate seeking his revenge. While Sarathkumar plays the antagonist in the film, ‘Rudhran’ also marks the second collaboration of Raghava Lawrene and Sarathkumar after ‘Kanchana’.
The movie is set to release on April 14, marking Tamil New year. Raghava Lawrence’s action thriller is quite a change as the actor after along time being part of horror thrillers, is all set to make a comeback as a commercial action hero. Will the film prove to be a perfect action entertainer is still a question as the buzz around the movie is still low. Let’s wait and watch!
The film ‘s shooting was wrapped up in March 2022 but the trailer of the film came much later in April 2023. The film’s audio launch was also held recently and the actor captured everyone’s hearts again by his selfless deed of offering Rs 10 lakh to help with the education of 25 children.
