‘RRR’ is a fictional story inspired by Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film has reportedly explored a blind spot in history for a cinematic spectacle, as there seem to be no records about what happened in the lives of these freedom fighters when they were away from their homes.

Rajamouli, along with his lead actors, Jr NTR and Ram Charan have been going out and about, promoting the film across the country. They also became the first film team to visit the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Statue of Unity in Baroda.

Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the movie also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt in key roles. The period action drama film is the first Indian film released in Dolby Cinema.

‘RRR’ is one of the biggest films in Indian cinema, with a budget of over Rs 450 crore. Written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the movie is expected to set new benchmarks at the ticket window.
