Rohit Shetty hints that Ranveer Singh will be a part of ‘Golmaal 5’ – Times of India

Rohit Shetty and team launched the trailer of ‘Cirkus’ and it’s filled with entertainment and laughter. Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma will be seen in double roles in the film which also stars Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez. But the highlight of Rohit Shetty’s movies isn’t just the lead cast but its entire ensemble. ‘Cirkus’ features some of the patent actors which are seen in Rohit Shetty movies – like Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari among others.

But the major highlight of ‘Cirkus’ trailer is Deepika Padukone’s cameo. The actress will be seen sharing screen space with Ranveer and dancing with him. What can’t be missed is that Shetty is creating his own comedy verse by getting in Deepika from ‘Chennai Express’ and mentioning the characters of ‘Golmaal’ after that. At the trailer launch event, when asked if one big comedy verse of Rohit Shetty is being created, Ranveer said, “With that, I I humbly welcome you all to the Rohit Shetty comedyverse.”

Rohit further added, “Bohot smart aadmi hai, abhi ‘Golmaal mein aayega yeh. (Ranveer is very smart, now he will come in ‘Golmaal’.” With that the director has almost confirmed that Ranveer could be a part of ‘Golmaal 5’ if he creates this comedy verse.

Meanwhile, in an interview with IndiaToday, Tusshar Kapoor also confirmed that ‘Golmaal 5’ will surely be made at some point and he hopes he’s roped in again for it.

Ranveer also admitted at the event that it’s a dream come true for him to work on ‘Cirkus’ because he’s been a fan of ‘Golmaal’ since 15 years. ‘Cirkus’ is set to release on December 23.
