Brooke Henderson captured her second Major title by sinking an 8-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole to record a one-stroke win at the Evian Championship. Indian golfer Aditi Ashok had missed the cut. Aditi was making a record 22nd Major appearance. At Gleneagles, Scotland, Indian golfing legend Jeev Milkha Singh had also bowed out early on his Senior Open debut.

Half-centuries by Dinesh Chandimal and Oshada Fernando helped Sri Lanka reach 315/6 at stumps on the opening day of the second Test against Pakistan. Cricket Scotland board steps down over racism report
The board of Cricket Scotland resigned with immediate effect on Sunday, a day before an independent report into racism in the sport is published.
