Riteish Deshmukh: I am happy to see Kichcha Sudeep stretching the cinematic boundaries with his choice of films – Times of India

Kichcha Sudeep’s highly anticipated film ‘Vikrant Rona’ is heading to cinemas worldwide this Thursday (July 28), and the entire team is on a promotional tour. Bollywood actor Riteish Deshmukh too graced the pre-release event in Mumbai lately, along with Salman Khan, and the former was all praise for Kichcha Sudeep.

While speaking at the grand launch in Mumbai on Monday (July 25), Riteish Deshmukh revealed that he has known Kichcha Sudeep, since 2008, when the latter made his Bollywood debut. “Congratulations Sudeep, he is a very dear friend. I have known him since his first Hindi film. I have had the privilege of working with him and seeing him work closely. He is someone I am extremely fond of. I’ve played cricket with him! He is a thorough gentleman, a very nice guy. And I am happy to see that he is stretching the cinematic boundaries with the choices that he makes as an actor, and producer. And I am absolutely thrilled. I couldn’t be more happy, to see his success, see him grow,” Riteish Deshmukh said.

Directed by Anup Bhandari, ‘Vikrant Rona’ is a 3D fantasy action-adventure film. Kichcha Sudeep is playing the titular while actors Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen in some pivotal roles in the film.

The film is slated to be released on July 28 in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
