Riteish Deshmukh accuses Karan Johar of revealing celeb secrets; latter says, ‘Don’t talk to me, talk to my lawyer’ – Times of India

Before you jump to any conclusion, let us tell you that this is about an OTT mini series called ‘Case Toh Banta Hai’ where where Riteish Deshmukh and Varun Sharma play opposing lawyers in a mock case against celebs. A new public figure is summoned as the accused in each episode, and this time it is none other than Karan Johar who spills the most tea on his celebrity chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’. In a promo shared by Karan, he is seen talking to Riteish over a call where the latter accuses him of spilling celeb secrets.

“People are unable to keep their secrets because of me?” Karan asks and dismisses the allegation as ‘ridiculous’. “This is pure conjecture. Everyone likes to share things with me. How is that my fault? asks Karan and ends the phone call agreeing to face this allegation in ‘court’ kyunki ‘Case toh banta hai!’

Sharing the video on Instagram, Karan wrote, “@riteishd!! don’t talk to me, talk to my lawyer @fukravarun! (lawyer emoji). Kyunki aa raha hoon main on #CaseTohBantaHai.”

‘Case Toh Banta Hai’ also features Kusha Kapila playing the judge deciding the fate of the accused Bollywood celebrities. Varun Dhawan was the first guest on the series. Stars like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sara Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, Rohit Shetty and Badshah are expected to be summoned in the subsequent episodes.
