Actor Aindrila Sharma finally succumbed to the relentless curveballs that life has been thrown at her over the past few years. It was a gut wrenching news for her family, friends, close ones and industry colleagues who praying for a miracle for the past few days. The 24-year-old actor breathed her last on Sunday at a private hospital in Kolkata, where she was undergoing treatment after suffering several cardiac arrests earlier this week.

An emotional Prosenjit Chatterjee tweeted, “Stay in peace Aindrila. Let Aindrila’s will power be our inspiration.”

Aindrila was rushed to the hospital on November 1 after suffering a brain stroke. She had an intracranial hemorrhage and also underwent a left frontotemporoparietal de-compressive craniotomy surgery. On November 14, the popular actor had suffered multiple cardiac arrests following which her health deteriorated.

Saurav Das, an actor and close friend to both Sabyasachi and Aindrila, has shared that Aindrila’s demise has broken Sabyasachi completely but Saurav has asked him to stay strong because now he has to give support to Aindrila’s family in this grieving time.

Earlier, Aindrila’s boyfriend Sabyasachi Chowdhury took to his Facebook handle urging fans to pray for the actor. “I never thought that I would write this here. However, today is the day. Pray for Aindrila. Pray for a miracle. Pray for the supernatural. She is fighting against all odds, beyond human,” his post read.
