JOHANNESBURG – Popular hangout spot, the Fourways Farmers’ Market says it is reviewing its entertainment offerings, following a viral TikTok video.
In the video, a group of young people is seen dancing in the rain to the chart-setting Amapiano song – Bhebha.
The Bhebha challenge is the latest TikTok dance craze that has taken hold of young people in the country.
The dance involves gyrating your behind to the rhythmic sounds of ShaunMusiQ and his featured artists.

However, the recent performance of this challenge at the Fourways Farmers’ Market left a sour taste in the mouths of many patrons, who have complained that the market is no longer family-friendly.
This has led to the market’s management issuing a statement saying it will review its late afternoon dance events to align with its family-friendly ethos.
This is in contrast to what owner Greg Stark told 702 last year, when another viral dancing video at the market caused an online storm.
“So it was one of those concepts where we said hold on, let’s accommodate everyone to do their thing.”
The market has not communicated any changes yet.
