Remembering Sidhu Moose Wala, Afsana Khan shares yet another emotional post – Times of India

Some souls are so special that though they leave the mortal world, their essence is left behind. And this is exactly what has happened in the case of Sidhu Moose Wala. He is an artist who went too soon but is never forgotten. Though now it’s been more than a month since his death, to date social media is packed with pictures and videos that have been posted remembering the slain singer. One such post that caught our attention today is by none other than Sidhu Moose Wala’s rakhi sister Afsana Khan.

Khan is a Punjabi folk singer who was very close to Moose Wala. They were not bonded with the blood but with love and thus when he passed away, a part of Afsana’s heart went missing too. There hardly goes a day when Afsana doesn’t share a post recalling Sidhu Moose Wala. Even on Monday evening, Afsana shared a video that ran a series of pictures featuring her and Sidhu Moose Wala. On one hand, where the pictures themselves are very heartwarming, on the other hand, the audio in the backdrop is highly sentimental.

Not just this, the caption shared by Afsana speaks volumes about her grief. She wrote: “ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਖੜੇ ਹੋ, ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਣਾਂਦਾਇਕ ਸ਼ਬਦਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ, ਅਤੇ ਆਪਣੀਆਂ ਅਸਫਲਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਭਰਾ ਤੁਸੀ ਜੋ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ..!! ਬੱਦਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕਣੀਆਂ ਨਾ ਆਉਂਦੀਆਂ, ਭਰਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਿੰਨਾਂ ਮਹਿਫ਼ਲਾਂ ਨਾ ਭਾਉਂਦੀਆਂ, Miss you so much Bai”

(You always stood by me, encouraged me with your inspiring words, and helped me overcome their failures, my dear brother thank you for everything you did for me .. !!) She added that she doesn’t enjoy anything without her brother and she misses her dearly.

Sidhu Moose Wala’s murder investigation is still in process. Just recently Ankit Sirsa, one of the main shooters was arrested in Delhi.
