Reliance Jio services down for some users, second day in a row – Times of India

Reliance Jio services are reportedly down for some users. According to Downdetector, the website that tracks internet outages, Jio users have reported disruption in services. “User reports indicate Jio is having problems since 2:18 PM IST. http://downdetector.in/status/jio/ RT if you’re also having problems #jiodown,” goes a tweet from Downdetector.
According to the Downdetector website, users’ reports about Jio not working started around 2.15 pm, and peaked around 2.45 pm with 445 users. It saw a slight dip after that and again went up to 455 users around 3.15 pm. The extent of disruption is not known yet, as the Reliance Jio network is working fine for some users that Gadgets Now spoke to.
Most report issues with mobile internet
Downdetector chart shows a view of problem reports submitted in the past 24 hours compared to the typical volume of reports by time of day. As per the website, the maximum number of users (54 percent) reported problems in mobile internet; followed by 31 percent reporting signal issues and 15 percent claimed complete blackout of the services.
This is the second day in a row that users have reported issues with Reliance Jio network. Reliance Jio on its part has not made any official comment on the disruption in services.
‘Reliance Jio Fiber down’
There are also some reports that claim that Reliance Jio Fiber services have been affected in the states of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. Some societies in Noida claim to have received mail from Reliance Jio about disruption in JioFiber services in these states. The mail adds that services will be restored completely by 4.30 pm today. The mail, however, does not mention any details for the outage. It gives no reasons for the outage in as many as four states. Interestingly, the mail also does not mention Uttar Pradesh among the states affected.
