After over 11 years of marriage, the actor and talent agent have announced their plans to divorce. Witherspoon confirmed the news on her Instagram in a joint statement from the couple. “We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together,” they wrote. “Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter. These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”

The news comes as Witherspoon and Toth were set to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary on March 26.

The two first met in 2010 at a party and married in March 2011. Their intimate wedding was held at Witherspoon’s own ranch estate in Ojai, California. They have one child together, Tennessee James. Witherspoon also has two children, Ava and Deacon, with Ryan Phillipe. Phillippe and Witherspoon divorced after nine years of marriage in 2008.

Currently, Witherspoon stars as Bradley Jackson on the critically acclaimed series, The Morning Show. She also runs her own media production company, Hello Sunshine, as well as a clothing and lifestyle brand, Draper James.
