Redmi 12C India pricing leaked ahead of launch – Times of India

Xiaomi is all set to launch its affordable Redmi series smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the Redmi 12C smartphone in India on March 30. Now ahead of the official launch, the e-commerce major Amazon has teased the pricing of the yet-to-launch Redmi smartphone.
The Amazon listing has revealed that the Redmi 12C will come in Black, Sea Blue, Mint Green and Lavender colour options. The listing also teases that the smartphone will be priced under Rs 10,000. This also makes clear that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon India website.
Redmi 12C specifications
Xiaomi already launched the Redmi 12C smartphone in China earlier this year. The company is expected to launch the same variant in India. Redmi 12C comes with a 6.71-inch HD+ display with 720×1650 pixel resolution. The budget smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM.
Redmi 12C comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs the Android 12 operating system with MIUI 13 on top.
Redmi 12C comes with dual SIM support and sports a dual rear camera. The rear camera comprises a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture.
Front is home to a 5MP selfie camera.
Redmi 12C comes equipped with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W fast charging support.
Along with the Redmi 12C, Xiaomi has also confirmed that it will also launch the Redmi Note 12 smartphone in India. Redmi Note 12 will join the Redmi Note 12 series, which launched in India in January 2023, including the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 5G. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
