Chinese smartphone maker Realme has now added a similar feature to the Realme C55 smartphone. The company recently launched this affordable phone in Indonesia. Now, Realme has shared a post on Twitter to confirm the India launch date of the smartphone. As per the tweet, Realme C55 will be launched in India on March 21 at 12.30 pm.

However, the company didn’t detail the pricing or storage options of the Indian version of the smartphone. According to a report by GizmoChina, a tipster named Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared live images. The tipster has also revealed details about storage options and pricing of Realme C55’s Indian variant. The company also hasn’t confirmed the specs of the Indian version of the smartphone which is expected to arrive with similar specs as the Indonesian version.

The tipster claims that the Realme C55 smartphone will be available in three different RAM and storage configurations. The base model of the smartphone is expected to pack 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, while the mid-tier option is likely to offer 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the other hand, the top model of the smartphone is rumoured to be equipped with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Realme C55’s base variant is expected to be priced at over Rs 10,000. Meanwhile, the top model is likely to be priced under Rs 20,000. The smartphone is also said to be available on the company’s official website and e-commerce site Flipkart.
Realme C55: Key specs and features
The smartphone sports a 6.52-inch LCD screen that supports a 90Hz refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, a 180Hz touch sampling rate and a peak brightness of 680nits. The display also has a punch-hole cutout for the front camera.

Realme C55 comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which is backed by a Mali G52 GPU. The smartphone also supports virtual RAM expansion.
For optics, the smartphone houses a dual-rear camera setup that includes a 64MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash. Realme C55 also includes an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
This smartphone also packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W SuperVOOC charging. Realme C55 boots on Realme UI 4.0 custom skin based on Android 13. Apart from this, the smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm audio port.
