realme: Mobile World Congress 2022: Realme GT 2 Pro, Realme GT 2 launched, to arrive in India soon – Times of India

Realme has launched its flagship Realme GT 2 series at Mobile World Congress 2022. The series consists of Realme GT 2 Pro and Realme GT smartphones that were launched in China last month. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered Realme GT 2 Pro will be priced starting at € 649, and the Snapdragon 888 powered Realme GT 2 will start at € 449 in early-bird sales. After debuting the realme GT 2 series in Europe at MWC, the flagship smartphone will be introduced across other markets such as India, Middle East, Southeast Asia and Latin America in the upcoming months.
Realme GT 2 Pro specifications
Realme GT 2 Pro is the world’s first smartphone that is designed with bio-based materials. The back of the smartphones uses a bio-polymer material that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to fossil raw materials. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED display with 3216 x 1440 pixels resolution. The display uses an LTPO panel and gets variable refresh rate up to 120Hz. It comes with a peak brightness of 1400 nits and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the top.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. In Europe, the smartphone will be offered in two RAM and storage configurations – 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. The smartphone will be available in four colour options – Paper White, Paper Green, Steel Black, Titanium Blue.
When it comes to cameras, the Realme GT 2 Pro gets a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a field of view of 150-degrees, and a 3MP microscope camera. For selfies and video calls, the device has a 32MP camera at the front. The smartphone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.
