Raveena Tandon and Milind Soman come together for thriller One Friday Night – Times of India

Raveena Tandon and Milind Soman will be seen together in Manish Gupta’s film One Friday Night that will be releasing soon on Jio Cinema. Speaking about casting Raveena Tandon, Gupta said, “I was looking for an actress who was almost 50 and yet be glamourous, desirable and beautiful. At the same time, she had to be a good actress: Raveena Tandon was the perfect choice.”
Milind Soman has been cast opposite Raveena Tandon in the film. Gupta revealed, “To play Raveena’s husband’s role, I wanted a man touching 50 who would be sexy and desirable at that age. The person had to be full of life and someone who cpuld portray a person with an active sex drive. Milind Soman was the ideal casting. I told him not to act but instead be himself while delivering the dialogues.”

The film has been shot on a remote bungalow on a hill top near Lonavala. Gupta informs, “I shot the film in 25 days inside a solitary villa situated on top of an isolated hill surrounded by an ocean-like lake.” One Friday Night also has Vidhi Chitalia who has worked with Gupta in ‘Section 420 IPC’. Gupta said, “Vidhi is a brilliant actress and she slips easily into any character. I can say proudly that Vidhi is my discovery.”

When asked why he chose for a digital release for One Friday Night, Gupta said, “I always envision a theatrical release for my films because I am a firm believer of the theatrical medium. However, ‘One Friday Night’ will be releasing on OTT. That’s a business decision by the producers Jio Studios. I respect their decision.”
