Rasika Dugal showers praise on her ‘Delhi Crime 2’ co-star Shefali Shah; says any piece of work by her is a masterclass – Times of India

In an interview with a news portal, Rasika showered praise on Shefali. Calling her work, masterclass, Rasika added that it is amazing to watch her journey and the kind of work she is doing. The actress also went on to say that she watched Shefali in ‘Jalsa’ and ‘Darlings’ and she thought the actress was absolutely phenomenal.

Elaborating further, Rasika added that when she met her, she told her she can’t wait to get to understand how she hit all the notes in this performance. Shefali’s journey is inspirational and it is simply beautiful to see her get better with every performance, Rasika told IndiaToday.in.

Rasika also went on to talk about the OTT explosion and how it has changed her life. She did not have access to such a wide audience before her work on streaming services. Before that, despite all the films she did, unfortunately, it does not get the recognition they deserved. The actress also recalled her film ‘Qissa’ which was released in only two theatres in Mumbai. She really felt a loss at that time of not having a wide audience. However, with the streaming services coming in, things changed. According to her, you don’t need to be a ‘star’ for your work to get recognized on OTT. It is a very healthy and thriving space.
