‘Rashtra Kavach OM’ and ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ collect Rs 60 lakh at the ticket window on their first Monday – Times of India
According to a report in boxofficeIndia.com, the Aditya Roy Kapur starrer and R Madhavan directorial both collected Rs 60 lakh on its first Monday. While the overall collection of ‘Rashtra Kavach OM’ has reached Rs 4.70 crore, ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ has collected Rs 4.45 crore in the last four days.
‘Rashtra Kavach OM’ is expected to generate Rs 6 crore in its first week, and ‘Rocketry’ is expected to generate Rs 6.25 crore.
‘JugJugg Jeeyo’, which hit screens on June 24, has been consistently minting money at the box office. As per Box Office India, the film minted Rs 1.75 crore on its second Monday, which is significantly more than the new releases. The film has earned Rs 65.17 crore so far.
Apart from Varun and Kiara, the film also stars Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the lead roles. The film has received positive reviews from the audience and the critics alike.
This weekend, all the three films will reportedly face tough competition from Marvel’s ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ starring Chris Hemsworth which hit the theatres on July 7.
