Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani song shoot in Austria cancelled – Exclusive – Times of India

ETimes was the first to tell you that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt were headed to Austria to shoot a special song for their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, being directed by Karan Johar. We were also the first to confirm that the song was being shot by choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant. The latest update from the movie is that, there’s been a change in plan.

We have learnt that Alia Bhatt, who has recently announced her pregnancy, is likely to return to India this weekend. An industry source told ETimes, “The plan to shoot the song has been cancelled. Perhaps the production team will soon take a decision on whether the same song will be shot in India.”

The source did not confirm what led to the change in production schedule, but it is a known fact that Ranveer Singh left for a holiday in the USA with his wife Deepika Padukone, to celebrate his birthday in Hawaii and attend an NRI event, too. Both Ranveer and Deepika are expected to be back in Mumbai by this weekend.

On the other hand, Alia was in London and was slated to shoot some portion of her Hollywood film in Portugal. Ranbir Kapoor is already back in India to promote his film Shamshera having completing his Mauritius schedule of Luv Ranjan’s film with Shraddha Kapoor. Alia will probably, make her way home now and it remains to be seen, when, where and how will this special song from Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani be shot.
