Rani Mukerji says she would love to romance Shah Rukh Khan till she is 80 and he’s 95! – Times of India

Rani Mukerji is currently basking in the love that she’s getting for ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’. While the film did a reasonable business at the box office, Rani got a lot of accolades for her performance in the film. Infact, Karan Johar feels it’s the actress’ best performance so far. The actress has been doing a lot of post-release interviews to celebrate the success of ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’ which is directed by Ashima Chibber.
In a recent interview Rani was asked if she would want to do a film with Shah Rukh Khan. Responding to it, the actress said in an interview with India Today that she wants writers to come up with a mature love story that can feature SRK with her. Rani has always maintained that she loves romancing Shah Rukh and now says she would want to continue to romance him till she is 80 and he is 95 years old.

Rani and SRK shared screen space in movies like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Chalte Chalte’, ‘Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna’ and fans have loved their chemistry in all these movies. Their friendship has also continued over the years. Shah Rukh had also praised Rani’s performance in ‘Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway’. He had tweeted, “What a tremendous effort by the whole team of Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway. My Rani shines in the central role as only a Queen can. Director Ashima, shows a human struggle with such sensitivity.”

Meanwhile, interview with ETimes, Rani spoke about her husband Aditya Chopra’s reaction to the film. She said, “He thinks it’s the film of the year and he’s made ‘Pathaan.”
