Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Brahmastra’ advance booking races ahead of ‘RRR’ Hindi and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ – Times of India

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Brahmastra’ finally set to release on the big screen this week. After a long delay due to the pandemic, the Ayan Mukerji directorial is ready for the audience. The excitement amongst the people is high due to its high level effects and breathtaking visuals. Even at the box office, it looks like the film is set to break all the records.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, ‘Brahmastra’ has crossed the advance booking of ‘RRR’ (Hindi) and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in only two and a half days at a theatre chain. It is yet to catch-up at other places because limited screens are open for advance booking. Here’s looking at the comparison between the three film at a theatre chain:

RRR (Hindi) – 2.19 crore (79k tickets) Thursday Night (Final Advance)

Bhool Bhuliyaa 2 – 2.15 crore (90k tickets) – Thursday Night (Final advance)

Brahmastra – 2.30 crore (80k tickets) – Sunday Night (4 days left)

The advance booking of the film stood at around Rs 5 crore on Sunday night. It will be interesting to see where the film lands up as there are four more days left for the release.

‘Brahmastra’ also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in important roles. It will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special appearance. His video from the film was leaked recently and it has got his fans super excited.
