Newly weds like to take long breaks from their professional lives post marriage, but Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are going to jump straight back to work after their nuptials this week. ETimes has learnt that Ranbir Kapoor will take a break of just one week before flying to Manali to shoot for producer Murad Khetani’s film ‘Animal’ being directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy and also featuring Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol.

An insider revealed to ETimes, “Ranbir Kapoor will be going to Manali on April 22 to shoot for Animal. It is going to be a two day schedule which will later continue in Mumbai for a week.” This news puts to rest speculations that Ranbir could accompany Alia to Switzerland for the upcoming shoot of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Ranbir will later re-join the shooting of Luv Ranjan’s film in Mumbai. And he will return to the Animal set after the release of Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan, later on in the year.

The actor has two big releases Shamshera and Brahmastra in July and September respectively. So it looks like Ranbir will have little time to enjoy the marital bliss after his wedding to Alia Bhatt. But here’s hoping that both Alia and Ranbir are able to spend quality time in their week off, after the wedding.
