Ranbir Kapoor was not on good terms with ‘Animal’ stylist, picked clothes from personal wardrobe: Report | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

After flooring fans with ‘Brahmastra’, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a completely opposite avatar in ‘Animal’. This Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is scheduled to hit the screens by the end of this year. Ahead of its release, here’s some inside information from the sets of ‘Animal’.
According to a mid-day report, it is being said that Ranbircouldn’t see eye to eye with the stylist of the film Sheetal Iqbal Sharma, who has worked on films like ‘Bhediya’,’Sita Ramam’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.The report also suggested Ranbir had a different vision for his character when it came to certain key sequences whereas the stylist had a different vision. So Ranbir decided to wear his personal collection for those key sequences as he wanted to own those moments and Sheetal Iqbal Sharma was more than happy to collaborate with the actor as long as it didn’t interfere with the overall look of the movie. For the rest of the scenes, Ranbir Kapoor reportedly embraced the clothes that were handed over to him by the stylist.
‘Animal’ was scheduled for release in August, but was recently postponed to December 1 because the makers felt they wouldn’t be able to complete post production of the film. Apart from Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandana in lead roles. Speaking about the movie, Sandeep had previously shared, “While it’s a crime drama, it’s all about the relationship between a father and son. It’ll be so special that…I believe it’ll work in any language. People up north already know me from Kabir Singh, in the south we all just want a good film, and they know Ranbir. I just want my story to reach everywhere.”
