Ranbir Kapoor is enjoying a packed schedule! Amidst the promotions for his upcoming release ‘Shamshera’, the actor is also juggling the shoot of Luv Ranjan’s next. After a stint in Mumbai, Ranbir has taken off to an international destination for an important schedule.

Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be shooting in Mauritius till the first week of July, which is the film’s final schedule. The duo will be shooting for a major song sequence there, post which Ranbir will return to Mumbai, reports Pinkvilla. This yet-untitled romantic drama is slated for release on March 8, 2023, coinciding with Holi next year. ETimes had exclusively reported that Boney Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will be seen essaying the role of Ranbir’s parents in this movie.

Up next, Ranbir will be seen in a warrior avatar, battling a mean looking Sanjay Dutt in ‘Shamshera’. RK essays a double role in this action entertainer. Speaking about the same, he had shared, “When the film was narrated to me, it wasn’t really offered to me as a double role. But when I heard the story, my immediate response to Aditya Chopra and Karan Malhotra was that let me play the father also. It is such a great role, it is such an interesting, juicy part for an actor to play. Then, I really had to convince Adi and Karan. I think after that Karan did a couple of look tests and that’s when he got convinced also.” Apart from this, Ranbir also has ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘Animal’ in the pipeline.
