Ranbir Kapoor shoots a big-budget party song for Luv Ranjan’s untitled film – Times of India

On Saturday, Ranbir Kapoor wrapped up the shoot for a house party song to be featured in Luv Ranjan’s yet untitled film. The song was shot on a set in Madh Island and was choreographed by Ranbir’s favourite dance director Bosco Martis, who is also a close friend of the actor.

The highlight of the shoot was the fact that this was probably the first time, after lockdown restrictions were eased, that a song with 500 background dancers was attempted by a film crew.

This film also marks the first time that Luv Ranjan and Ranbir Kapoor are collaborating. It’s also the first time that Shraddha Kapoor has been paired with Ranbir. Reportedly, Shraddha had replaced Deepika Padukone in this project. Film producer Boney Kapoor is playing a rare on-screen role in the film, where he’s going to feature as Ranbir Kapoor’s father. The cast will also feature Dimple Kapadia in a prominent role.

Ranbir has four films in the offing. Ayan Mukherji’s ‘Brahmastra’ which is yet to complete its shooting schedule. Then there is ‘Shamshera’, which has been in the making for quite sometime, too and will probably release in March 2022. There’s ‘Animal’ with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which is also slated to release next year. Finally, there’s Luv Ranjan’s film which is under production.
