Ranbir Kapoor has made an interesting revelation about his educational background. The actor, who is going all out with the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Shamshera’, revealed that he is the first boy from the Kapoor khandaan to pass 10
th standard exams.

In a recent promotional video, Ranbir shared, “I was very weak in studies. I scored 53.4 per cent in my boards. When my results came, my family was so happy that they kept a huge party for me. They had no expectations. I am the first boy in my family who passed his 10th exams.”

Directed by Karan Malhotra, ‘Shamshera’ is an action packed entertainer starring Ranbir in the titular role, battling Sanjay Dutt. Ranbir essays a double role in this film, speaking about the same, the actor had shared, “When the film was narrated to me, it wasn’t really offered to me as a double role. But when I heard the story, my immediate response to Aditya Chopra and Karan Malhotra was that let me play the father also. It is such a great role, it is such an interesting, juicy part for an actor to play. Then, I really had to convince Adi and Karan. I think after that Karan did a couple of look tests and that’s when he got convinced also.” Apart from ‘Shamshera’, Ranbir will also be seen in ‘Brahmastra’, ‘Animal’ and Luv Ranjan’s next untitled film.
