Ever since Alia Bhatt shared her dreamy wedding pictures on Instagram, netizens are going gaga over the good-looking couple. Even their first public appearance was no less than a spectacle as after posing for the cameras, Ranbir Kapoor lifted his dulhaniya in his arms and took her back inside the venue. We got our hands on an inside video from the wedding shot during the varmala ceremony. While the groomsmen lifted Ranbir high up as Alia struggled to put the mala around his neck, at one moment, Ranbir is seen sitting down for his ladylove and surrendering to her.

As revealed Rahul Bhatt, Alia and Ranbir took only four pheras instead of seven. Alia gave an RK touch to her mangalsutra and kalire by incorporating the infinity symbol in the designs. After the wedding, the couple cut three tier cake and also raised a toast to new beginnings as husband and wife.

In her Instagram post, Alia revealed that they got married in their balcony which is their favourite spot in the house. “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia,” she wrote in her caption.
