It’s time for band, baaja, baaraat once again in B-Town as Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt gear up for the D-Day in the coming week. Alia’s uncle Robin Bhatt confirmed that the wedding is happening on April 14 and it will be a 4-day event. ETimes brought you exclusive details about the wedding earlier. Ranbir has booked the banquet of his building Vastu in Pali Hill for 8 days and preparations are on in full swing, even though mommy Neetu Kapoor refuses to divulge any details.

Details about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding menu have surfaced and according to a portal it will be a lavish and customised spread. The Kapoors are big foodies and Neetu Kapoor has invited special chefs from Delhi and Lucknow for her son’s wedding, reports BollywoodLife. Amidst the variety of national and international cuisines, there will be a separate Delhi chat counter. Considering Alia is a vegan, there will be additional 25 counters for vegan and vegetarian food, the report further stated.

As the last leg of preparations are on, Alia’s house has been decorated by a team of six-seven people. The house is in the same building where Ranbir resides. “There are lights being put up, very simple but tasteful stuff. There’s also some floral decoration that’s being carried out. There has been a lot of movement in her house all day today. People have been coming and going with things. In the next two days, all the decoration work will be through and only then one can really talk about the colour combinations and the final look of the bride’s house. The good part is that everything has been going on without undue noise and litter,” reported Bombay Times.
