Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding: Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Shaheen Bhatt and Soni Razdan arrive at the groom’s residence for haldi ceremony – Times of India

Ranbir and Alia will tie the knot at the former’s Vastu residence. While there’s no surety whether they will be having a traditional sangeet ceremony today, the couple will have pheras at the groom’s house, in the presence of family members and close friends only.

Earlier a source told ETimes, “There’s no surety of the sangeet but pheras of the couple will happen. According to the muhurat and it may happen tomorrow or day after.”

Ranbir Kapoor’s baaraat will start from his Krishna Raj house to Vastu, where bride Alia will be waiting for their pheras. The two will have a traditional Punjabi wedding during the early morning hours.

On Wednesday, Alia Bhatt had her mehendi ceremony. Post ceremony, Riddhima Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor finally confirmed the wedding news to the media stationed outside the venue.

When Neetu was asked to say a few words about her to-be daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt, she said, “Main kya bolu? (What can I say?), she is the best”. Riddhima chimed in and showered praise on her to-be sister-in-law. “Bahut cute hai yaar, doll jaisi (She is very cute, just like a doll)”, she added.

Sharing their excitement for the wedding, Neetu and Riddhima both confirmed the date of Ranbir-Alia’s wedding. “Shaadi kal hai”, they told the media on Thursday night.

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be next seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’. Earlier, the filmmaker unveiled ‘Kesariya’ song teaser from the film as a gift to the couple who are close friends with him.
