Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding: Neetu Kapoor, guests arrive for pre-wedding celebrations – WATCH – Times of India

The day we have all been waiting for is finally here!

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s wedding festivities have officially begun at the actor’s Vastu residence in Bandra.

Early Wednesday morning, our cameras got the first glimpses of a fleet of bodyguards and bouncers arriving at the actor’s bungalow to make sure security measures were in place for the festivities that are set to kick off later today.

Our cameras also caught glimpses of Ranbir’s mom, Neetu Kapoor’s car heading straight to the parking lot. An airconditioned van with its blinds drawn was also seen arriving at the premises, presumably ferrying a couple of guests for this hush-hush ceremony.

Another familiar face spotted arriving at the actor’s residence complex was Natasha Nanda, who was seen dressed in a summery blue traditional ensemble and matching facemask. Following close behind was aunt Reema Jain, who put on her best smile for the cameras as she arrived in time for the festivities.

It was reported that Ranbir and Alia would be hosting a special pooja in honour of the late Rishi Kapoor before they begin their celebrations for the happy occasion.

According to Alia’s uncle Robin Bhatt, the couple will take the plunge on April 14 in the presence of their families and close friends.

Meanwhile, congratulatory messages and notes of love have begun pouring in from all quarters. ‘Brahmastra’ director Ayan Mukerji took the lead by posting a romantic track from the film and sending the couple ‘love and light’ for this new journey. Filmmaker Karan Johar also joined in to wish the couple ahead of the big day.
