According to a report in Hindustan Times, amongst the other pre-wedding and wedding ceremonies, the joota churai rasam will be the most interesting one.

Alia’s girl gang will reportedly be responsible for stealing Ranbir’s shoes. The report further stated that a budget of Rs 1 lakh has been kept aside for the same. The source also told the news portal that the couple is not having an elaborate sangeet ceremony at their wedding. They might just dance at the mehendi function.

The report also added that celebrity mehendi artists and photographers have not been hired. They have got people on board who do not have any celebrity wedding experience. As for the mandap, a female set designer has been brought on board.

Ranbir and Alia will reportedly begin their wedding festivities on a solemn note by performing a pooja for Ranbir’s late father Rishi Kapoor whose death anniversary will be on April 30. According to another report, a pandit will perform the prayers at the RK House in Chembur, states a report on indiatoday.in. The wedding rituals will commence only after this pooja.
