Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt to grace the first episode of Koffee with Karan season 8: Report – Times of India

The filmmaker has Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in mind for the opening episode of ‘Koffee with Karan’ season 8, reported a news portal. He reportedly wants the IT couple of Bollywood to get chatty about their married life and parenthood. Apart from Ranbir-Alia, KJo is also reportedly planning to feature Shah Rukh Khan in the opening of the finale episode. Last season, Alia and Ranveer Singh appeared for the first episode while Shah Rukh Khan was missing in action. Karan Johar also plans to rope in his regulars, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and others for season 8. The new season of this hat show will reportedly stream online from June-end.

This year, Karan Johar returns as director after a gap of seven years. He recently wrapped the shooting of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. Penning a note about the movie, KJo had shared, “It’s been 7 years since I directed a film… I embarked on a journey of a film that I had to stop mid way for various unavoidable reasons and then the germ of #rockyaurranikipremkahani came to me from a real life family anecdote (something my father once told me about ) and then my soldiers helped me create everything I wanted to with my 7th feature.”
