Rakul Preet Singh praises Samantha Ruth Prabhu during her Instagram AMA session: ‘I love and admire her’

Actor Rakul Preet Singh has described Samantha Ruth Prabhu as someone she loves and admires, in an ask-me-anything session with her fans on Instagram. When a fan asked Rakul to say something about Samantha, she said that she’s the best. Samantha took to her Instagram to share the story to send love back to Rakul. Both Samantha and Rakul are the thickest of friends and have high regard for each other. On Sunday, during an ask-me-anything session, a fan asked Rakul Preet Singh, “Say something about Samantha.” Rakul replied her fan by saying, “I just love her and admire her so much. Best always,” along with a heart emoji. Samantha shared Rakul’s story on her Instagram handle with a heart sticker.

Rakul also answered a question about her dream project. She said she’d like to be part of a love story that’ll be remembered for a long time. “I want to do a love story that people remember forever like Jab We Met and DDLJ (sic),” she said. On a question about her favourite actor in Bollywood, she said it’s Ranveer Singh. Rakul was also asked about her opinion on Ram Charan, Jr NTR starrer RRR, directed by SS Rajamouli. “I mean what do I say? Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Rajamouli sir… they’ve all done such a fantastic job and I don’t even have words to talk about RRR,” she said.

Samantha is currently looking forward to the release of her upcoming pan-Indian film Shakuntalam. Tipped to be a high-budget film, the project has been directed by Gunasekhar, who is best known for his epic period drama Rudhramadevi with Anushka Shetty.

In 2020, speaking at the launch of the movie recently, Samantha said that this will be her dream project and dream role. She’ll be teaming up with Gunasekhar for the first time. The film, produced on a massive budget by Gunasekhar himself, will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

Samantha was recently seen in the Telugu film Pushpa, in which she danced to the widely popular song, Oo Antava. Last year, Samantha was seen playing a Sri Lankan Tamil rebel in the hit web series, Family Man season 2. She played a character called Raji, and her performance was extremely well received.
