Rajkumaar Rao recalls his last meeting with Irrfan Khan in London – Times of India
Rajkummar feels Irrfan’s death is the biggest loss to the industry and he impacted the ‘Newton’ actor’s life in a big way just like he did for others. The popular actor also recalled he had met Irrfan a lot of times when he was being treated in London but his meeting with Irrfan during his last days will always stay in his heart.
Rajkummar said that he would always cherish those 2-3 hours because that guy who knew what was coming and still the way he was portraying himself is so inspirational. Irrfan was still so curious about many things, about life and he also wanted to travel. Rajkummar recalled that Irrfan looked more of a ‘sufiyana’ type. He further said that there would be no one like Irrfan Khan ever in this country.
Not only Irrfan Khan but there’s another actor who continues to inspire him and it’s none other than Shah Rukh Khan. Rajkummar said that he has never met anyone like Shah Rukh Khan and he’s the greatest guy you would come across, especially the way he treats others despite being an iconic figure.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar was recently seen in ‘Monica O My Darling’ and recently started the shooting of another film titled ‘Sri’. The film, which also has Alaya F, is a biopic on visually-impaired industrialist Srikanth Bolla.
