Rajesh Khattar reveals he isn’t friends with Pankaj Kapur, won’t ask Shahid or Ishaan to introduce him to producers | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Rajesh Khattar is currently happily married to his wife Vandana Sajnani. They welcomed their baby boy Yuvaan in 2019 after 11 years of marriage. He had Ishaan with his first wife Neliima Azeem in 1995. He also lived with Neliima and her elder son Shahid Kapoor from her marriage with her first husband Pankaj Kapur. Rajesh and Neliima parted ways in 2001.
In a chat show, when Rajesh was asked if he has ever requested his son Ishaan and stepson Shahid to introduce him with filmmakers and producers he wants to work with, he said that he would never asked them to do that for him.
When asked if it is because of his ego, Rajesh denied it and said that he has maintained a good relationship with Ishaan who also knows that he is just a call away if anything comes up. He then admitted that he is not friends with Pankaj Kapur and they have hardly met 4-5 times. He stated that they have a formal relationship and they have very cordial and respectful towards each other. He added that Neliima is good friends with his wife Vandana.

Rajesh also mentioned that Shahid and his kids Misha and Zain haven’t met his 4-year-old son Yuvaan yet. When asked if he would like them to meet Yuvaan, Rajesh said that it is upto the kids to find their equation with each other, if they have to or if they want to.
During the same interview, Rajesh was also asked about Ishaan mostly talking about his mother Neliima and his stepbrother Shahid in his interview and less of his father. He said that the media’s impression of their relationship doesn’t matter to him.
