Raiders receiver Davante Adams SHOVES photographer in anger after Monday Night Football loss

Raiders receiver Davante Adams SHOVES photographer in anger after Monday Night Football loss to the Kansas City Chiefs despite a great game from the pass catcher

After an embarrassing moment to end the game, Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams was seen shoving a photographer angrily after his team’s 30-29 loss on Monday Night Football to the Kansas City Chiefs.

On his team’s final play – and last chance to take the lead – Adams and fellow receiver Hunter Renfrow ran into each other, tumbling to the ground and unable to catch the pass from QB Derek Carr.

Cameras on the Raiders sideline caught Adams throwing his helmet on the ground in frustration immediately after the play, just as Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes kneeled down to run out the last remaining second of play.

As he walked off the field, a man carrying what looked like a TV camera stand walked in front of Adams. The receiver shoved the man – who fell to the ground – before walking down the tunnel.

Adams helped his team immensely last night, scoring the opening touchdown of the game early in the first quarter. He finished the game with two touchdowns and 124 yards on only three catches.

The Raiders were down 30-23 when Adams caught his second touchdown of the night on a 48 yard pass. However, when facing the chance to tie the game with an extra point or win the game with a two-point conversion, the Raiders under new head coach Josh McDaniels chose to go for two.

A handoff to Josh Jacobs was stopped short of the goal line, leaving the Raiders down by a point with 4:27 to go in the game.

The team forced the Chiefs to punt the ball with 2:36 remaining in the game. After nine plays, the Raiders could not get within field goal range and could not advance further down the field.

Kansas City won thanks to an amazing night for tight end Travis Kelce, who caught seven passes including four touchdowns.
