Rahul Roy Makes A Comeback With ‘Walk’, Shares ‘Challenging’ Journey Post Brain Stroke

With Nitin Kumar Gupta’s ‘Walk’, the Aashiqui actor Rahul Roy has made a comeback to the films.

Rahul Roy suffered from a brain stroke in 2020 while shooting for LAC — Live the Battle in Kargil. The Aashiqui actor underwent angiography of the brain and heart and spent time recovering through medical treatment, speech therapy, exercise, diet, and meditation, with support from loved ones.

Despite finding the shoot for ‘Walk’ challenging, Roy credits the director and team for their support in helping him overcome it.

While talking about his road to recovery, he expressed that ‘Walk was challenging to shoot after my health setback’.

He further said that the support from the team and director helped him a lot during the ‘Walk’ film shoot. He told a news agency that his recovery was a ‘combination of medical treatment, speech therapy and huge support from loved ones’.

‘I followed a disciplined routine of exercise, diet, and meditation, took time to prioritise my physical and mental well-being.’

Roy’s previous project, LAC — Live the Battle in Kargil, was interrupted by his brain stroke, but he has now returned to acting and shared his journey to recovery.
