R Madhavan says he wants Alia Bhatt and Kartik Aaryan in the RHTDM remake – Times of India

In a conversation with a news portal, Madhavan revealed that he doesn’t think that a remake of the cult film will be made. However, when insisted, the actor said he would love to see Kartik Aaryan and Alia Bhatt in the film if it is ever remade. ‘Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein’ also starred Dia Mirza and featured Saif Ali Khan in brief roles. Released in 2001, the film has achieved a cult status over the years and is still loved by many.

When asked about the female lead, Madhavan said his dream co-star is none-other-than Jennifer Aniston.

As far as ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is concerned, the actor will be seen playing the titular role of Indian Aerospace Engineer Nambi Narayanan. The film was recently presented as an Indian selection at Cannes 2022 and had a world premiere there. It even got a standing ovation from the attendees.

‘Rocketry’ will also have special cameos from none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya. After a long wait, the film is finally slated to hit the theatres on July 1, 2022.
