R Madhavan never minces his words when it comes to speaking his mind. He recently spoke about working with strong women in his acting career and he was all praise for his Tanu Weds Manu co-star Kangana Ranaut.
During his interaction with a news portal, Madhavan said that he is in awe of Kangana. He also gave Kangana due credit for bringing her strength and experience to the big screen by experimenting with different genres.

He further added that he had the good fortune to work with strong women like Kangana or Shalini among others who were all women with opinions. He also said that they are not pushovers and not the cliche heroines who would dance in a couple of movies, get slapped by the man and walk away.

“I am giving Kangana due credit for it, it is extremely smart and important for all of us. She is really an extraordinary actor who brings so much to the roles that she does. And look at what she is doing today across all genres of films, I am quite in awe,” Madhavan said.

Madhavan and Kangana had shared screen space for the first time in the Tanu Weds Manu franchise. Their collaboration was a treat for cinegoers. Madhavan also got to romance Kangana in her two different avatars in Tanu Weds Manu Returns.
